In a rapidly industrializing and urbanizing society, college students can experience a variety of acute challenges, adjusting to a new environment and interrelating with other people. The Counseling Center was established in 1968 to help students cope with their emotional challenges and guide them in their lives.

The Counseling Center offers counseling services to admitted and registered students. Services are provided by psychologists, professional counselors and masters-level counselor trainees.

Counseling for individuals, couples and groups is given to assist students with personal, educational and career concerns.
Emergency drop-in hours are available to assist students with urgent concerns.
Student development workshops designed to enhance personal and academic skills development are available.
